Łuwechōn Kots’ede’i Kime Grand Opening

On October 16, 2025, I photographed the grand opening of Łuwechōn Kots’ede’i Kime (Łuwechōn House of Learning) in Iskut, a meaningful celebration marking a new chapter for the community. The event brought together community members, families, Elders, leadership, and partners to honour the opening of the new school, a modern learning space rooted in Tahltan culture, language, and community values. I was proud to help document this important milestone through photography, with images later shared through Iskut Band Council’s community publications and online updates.
